No. 18-51/2000-INC.— In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:— Whereas, Patna Medical College Hospital, G N M Nursing Institute situated at Ashok Rajpath, Patna, Distt. Patna – 800004, Bihar was recognized by State Government of Bihar and Bihar Nurses & Registration Council to conduct GNM Course. And whereas, the Directorate of Health Services (DHS Bihar), has sent a letter dated 20/07/2022 stating that Patna Medical College Hospital, G N M Nursing Institute situated at Ashok Rajpath, Patna, Distt. Patna – 800004, Bihar will not take the admission to GNM course for next three sessions. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety under the consideration of above said DHS letter the institution may be considered as closed for GNM course. Hence, therefore, the recognition of Patna Medical College Hospital, G N M Nursing Institute situated at Ashok Rajpath, Patna, Distt. Patna – 800004, Bihar for conducting GNM Course is hereby withdrawn with effect from 22/12/2022 as the said institution does not have necessary permissions from the state government. Lt.
