Nadia 741302, West Bengal is recognized by State Government of West Bengal and West Bengal Nursing Council to conduct B.Sc(N) Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-32/15110-INC dated 03/10//2022 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Chief Secretary (Health &FW) Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, Swasthya Bhawan, 04th Floor, B Wing, GN – 29, Sector – V, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata 700091, West Bengal was issued. Copy of the notice dated 03/10/2022 was also enclosed to Nabadwip School and College of Nursing situated at 77/9, Sarkar Para Road, Ward 16, Nabadwip, Distt. Nadia 741302, West Bengal. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Nabadwip School and College of Nursing. Even the institution Nabadwip School and College of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 01/04/2022 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 declares that with effect from 23/02/2023 any person holding a recognized qualification of B.Sc(N) Nabadwip School and College of Nursing situated at 77/9, Sarkar Para Road, Ward 16, Nabadwip, Distt.
