No. 18-11/13452-INC.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:— Whereas, Ambaji Nursing College situated at Mehsana – Ahmedabad Highway, At – Ganeshpura, Takadi, Distt. Mehsana - 382705, Gujarat is recognized by State Government of Gujarat and Gujarat Nursing Council to conduct GNM Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-11/13452-INC/8147 dated 28/02/2022 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to The Commissioner (Health), & Ex-Officio Secretary (Public Health & Family Welfare), Block No. – 05, 01st Floor Old Sachiwalay, Dr. Jivraj Bhavan, Sector No. 10, Gandhinagar – 382010, Gujarat was issued. Copy of the notice dated 28/02/2022 was also enclosed to Ambaji Nursing College situated at Mehsana – Ahmedabad Highway, At – Ganeshpura, Takadi, Distt. Mehsana - 382705, Gujarat. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Ambaji Nursing College. Even the institution Ambaji Nursing College has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 02/06/2021 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute the institution is unable to run GNM Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) declares that with effect from 30/05/2022 any person holding a recognized qualification of GNM from Ambaji Nursing College situated at Mehsana – Ahmedabad Highway, At – Ganeshpura, Takadi, Distt.
