Nalanda 801307 Bihar is recognized by State Government of Bihar and Bihar Nurses Registration Council to conduct ANM and GNM Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-05/13110-INC (58304) dated 20/05/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the Principal Secretary (H&FW) Department of Health, Government of Bihar, Vikas Bhawan, New Secretariat, Bihar was issued. Copy of the notice dated 20/05/2024 was also enclosed Gautam Institute of Nursing situated at Chandi – Hisla Road, P.o.- Jaitpur, Vill.- Saiyad Bahri, Tehsil - Tharthari, Distt. Nalanda 801307 Bihar In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Gautam Institute of Nursing. Even the institution Gautam Institute of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 26/02/2024 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run ANM and GNM Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 26/10/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of ANM and GNM from Gautam Institute of Nursing situated at Chandi – Hisla Road, P.o.- Jaitpur, Vill.- Saiyad Bahri, Tehsil - Tharthari, Distt.
