Whereas, a notice no. 18-18/14918-INC dated 26/10//2022 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Principal Secretary (Health &FW), Government of Madhya Pradesh, Room No. 241, Mantralaya (Vallabh Bhawan) Area Hills, Bhopal – 462004, Madhya Pradesh was issued. Copy of the notice dated 26/10/2022 was also enclosed to Orange City College of Nursing situated at Pandhurna, Chhindwara – 480334, Madhya Pradesh. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Orange City College of Nursing, Madhya Pradesh. Even the institution Orange City College of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 20/05/2022 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 declares that with effect from 23/02/2023 any person holding a recognized qualification of B.Sc(N) Orange City College of Nursing situated at at Pandhurna, Chhindwara – 480334, Madhya Pradesh shall be entitled to be registered only in the State of Madhya Pradesh subject to the orders of State government of Madhya Pradesh.
