NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th January, 2020
S.O. 259(E).—In In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the
National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Joint
Collector-VG, Visakhapatnam as the Competent Authority to perform the functions of such authority
under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette,
in respect of the stretch of land from Km 681.000 to Km.731.780 (Anandapuram to Anakapalli) of
NH-16 and from Km. 0.000 to Km.13.600 (Sabbavaram to Sheelanagar) of NH-16 for building
(widening / four laning, etc), maintenance, management and operation in the State of Andhra Pradesh
as specified in the schedule given below.
This notification supersedes the earlier 3a notifications S.O.Nos.(i) 2416, 14th July, 2016 and
