In partial modification of notification No 31 72 2009 M III Vol I part I dated 18th March 2019 published in Gazette of India on 19th March 2019 the following further amendments are hereby made
This notification, issued by the Ministry of Mines on December 15, 2020, modifies a previous notification (No. 31722009M.III Vol.I partI dated 18th March, 2019, published in the Gazette of India on 19th March, 2019) regarding the pay scales and sanctioned strength of positions within the Ore Dressing Discipline.

* **Assistant Research Officer (Group B):** The sanctioned strength for this position is revised. The existing strength of 7 is increased to 22. This includes the merger of 12 posts of STAOD (Senior Technical Assistant Ore Dressing) into the Assistant Research Officer role. The pay scale remains at Level 7 in the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC (Rs. 44900-142400), corresponding to a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600 as per the 6th CPC, and a pay scale of 79300-34800.
* **Senior Technical Assistant Ore Dressing (Group B):** The sanctioned strength for this position remains at 2. The pay scale remains at Level 7 in the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC (Rs. 44900-142400), corresponding to a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600 as per the 6th CPC, and a pay scale of 79300-34800.
* **Junior Technical Assistant Ore Dressing (Group B):** The sanctioned strength for this position is revised. The existing strength of 6 is increased to 11. The pay scale remains at Level 6 in the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC (Rs. 35400-112400), corresponding to a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 as per the 6th CPC, and a pay scale of 69300-34800.
