New Delhi, the 18th September, 2015
S.O. 2649(E).—In pursuance of Clause (a) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and Mineral Pipelines
(Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act 1962 (50 of 1962), the Central Government hereby authorizes
Shri.S. Ramesh, Senior Manager, Petronet CCK Limited to perform the functions of Competent Authority
for “Cochin-Coimbatore-Karur pipeline” of Petronet CCK Limited and “Kochi Refinery – Cochin
4125GI/2015 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
International Airport ATF pipeline” of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited under the said Act within the
territory of the State of Kerala in place of Shri.P.N.Mohanachndran authorized vide Gazette notification of
the Government of India in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas S.O.1996 dated 01st June 2005 and
modified thereof vide S.O.2709 dated 24th September 2008.
Shri S. Ramesh is also authorized to perform the functions of Competent Authority for Cochin-Coimbatore-
Karur pipeline of Petronet CCK Limited under the said Act within the territory of the State of Tamilnadu in
place of Shri Asok Subrahmanyam authorized vide Gazette notification of the Government of India in the
Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas S.O.1979 dated 12th July 2007. Shri.S.Ramesh will be performing the
functions of Competent Authority both in the States of Kerala and Tamilnadu in addition to his other main
duties.
