NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th September, 2018
S.O. 4901(E).— In pursuance of clause (a) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of
Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter called the said Act), the Government of India hereby
authorizes Shri Sazzad Alam, Deputy Secretary, Government of Assam to perform the functions of Competent Authority
in addition to his duty under the State Government of Assam under the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of
Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 for all natural gas pipelines of GAIL (India) Limited in the State of Assam.
2. This notification will be effective from the date of its issue.
