New Delhi, the 4th October, 2018
S.O. 5190(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of
Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter called the said Act), the Government of India hereby
authorizes Shri Bir Prakash Prasad (Jharkhand Administrative Service) to perform the functions of Competent Authority
under the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 for all natural gas pipelines
of GAIL (India) Limited in the State of Jharkhand.
2. This notification will be effective from the date of its issue.
