S.O. 643 (E)—In pursuance of clause (a) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of
Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter called the said Act), the Government of India hereby
authorizes Shri Keshava Murthy, Tehsildar, Grade-I, Government of Karnataka to perform the functions of Competent
Authority under the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 for Kochi-
Koottanad-Bengaluru/Mangalore (KKBMPL) pipeline project of GAIL (India) Limited in the State of Karnataka.
This notification will be effective from the date of its issue.
