S.O. 3873(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines
(Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter called the said Act), the
Government of India hereby authorizes the person(s) holding the post(s) mentioned in the column (1) of the
Table given below to perform the functions of Competent Authority(s) in addition to their duties under the
State Government of West Bengal under the said Act for Barauni-Guwahati Natural Gas Pipeline (BGPL) as
an integral part of Jagdishpur-Haldia & Bokaro-Dhamra Natural Gas Pipeline (JHBDPL) of M/s GAIL (India)
