New Delhi, the 30th August, 2017
S.O. 2891(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of section 2 of the Petroleum Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of
Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962) and in modification of Notification of the Government of India in Ministry
of Petroleum and Natural Gas S.O. No. 3314(E) dated the 4th December, 2015, the Central Government hereby authorizes
Shri S. C. Patel, Deputy Collector, MDM, Vadodara, Government of Gujarat to perform the functions of Competent
Authority for HPCL’s Palanpur Vadodara Pipeline Project under the said Act, within the territory of Gujarat State. This
Notification is applicable from the date of joining as Competent Authority, i.e. 19.08.2017.
