S. O. 1979(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of section 2 of the Petroleum Minerals Pipelines
(Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), the Central Government hereby authorizes Prant
Officer / Assistant Collector, Palanpur Prant, District Banaskantha, Government of Gujarat to perform the
functions of Competent Authority for Barmer Palanpur Pipeline Project of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation
Limited, under the said Act, within the territory of Banaskantha District of Gujarat State.
