It supersedes earlier standards, which will be cancelled on the dates specified.
Specifically, IS 8498:2013 (Temphos, Emulsifiable Concentrate EC Specification - First Revision) has been established, superseding IS 8498:1977 (Temphos, Emulsifiable Concentrate EC Specification), which will be cancelled on February 1, 2018.
Additionally, IS 15622:2017 (Pressed Ceramic Tiles - Specification - First Revision) has been established, superseding IS 15622:2006 (Pressed Ceramic Tiles - Specification), which will be cancelled on August 1, 2018.

indicated against it in third column. The particulars of the standards, if any, which are given in the fourth
