NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd October, 2020
O.N. 36(E).—In pursuance of Section 21 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of
1951), the Election Commission of India, in consultation with the Government of Uttar Pradesh State
makes following amendment in its Notification No. 318/CS-Multi/3/2020(2), dated 20.10.2020 relating to
Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers in respect of the biennial election to the Council of
States, to be held in the State of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand in pursuance of the notification of the
President of India, published in the Gazette of India on 20th October, 2020 :—
The existing entries in Column (2) against the State Uttar Pradesh in Column (1) of the Table
appended to the Notification No. 318/CS-Multi/3/2020(2), dated 20.10.2020, shall be substituted with the
entries “Shri Ashok Kumar, Special Secretary, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow”.
