ORDER
New Delhi, the 27th November, 2018
S.O. 5838 (E). – In pursuance of Sub Section (5) of Section 3 G of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48
of 1956) (here in after referred to as the said act), the central Government hereby appoints the officers mentioned in
column (2) of the table below, to be arbitrator for the purpose of arbitration arising out of Acquisition of land for
building (upgrading/ widening/ 2 lane/ 2 lane with paved shoulders etc.), maintenance, management and operation of
National Highway No.234, on the stretch of land from Km.147.975 to 194.555 (Belur – Banavar Section) in the Districts
of Hassan and Chikkamagaluru in the state of Karnataka, who shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the duties
imposed on Arbitrator by or under the said Act, within the local limits of their jurisdiction as specified in Column (3) &
(4) of the said table. Sub-Section (6) and (7) of Section 3(G) of the Act shall be taken into consideration while passing
awards by the arbitrator.
