NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th December, 2019
S.O. 4584(E).—In pursuance of sub-section (5) of section 3G of National Highway Act, 1956 (48 of 1956)
(hereinafter referred to as the said act) and in supersession of all previous notifications published regarding appointment
of Arbitrator for the purpose of Arbitration arising out of land acquisition for National Highways in the State of
Chhattisgarh, the Central Government hereby appoints the officers mentioned in column (2) of the table below, to be
arbitrator for the purpose of arbitration arising out of Acquisition of land for rehabilitation and up-gradation of National
Highways in the State of Chhattisgarh mentioned in column, who shall exercise the powers conferred and perform the
duties imposed on Arbitrator by or under the said Act, within the local limits of their jurisdiction as specified in Column
(3) & (4) of the said table. Sub-Section (6) and (7) of section 3(G) of the Act shall be taken into consideration while
passing awards by the arbitrator.
