The officers mentioned below of the States specified hereunder, shall be invited to attend meetings of the Regional Empowered Committee as special invitees, in the examination of the proposals pertaining to the diversion of forest land in their respective States, namely:- (A) Government of Odisha: (i) Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Forest Diversion) and Nodal Officer, Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, Government of Odisha; (ii) Joint Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Odisha; (B) Government of West Bengal: (i) Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (CAMPA) and Nodal Officer, Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980, Government of West Bengal; (ii) Secretary, Land and Land Reforms Department, Government of West Bengal. 3. The terms and conditions of appointment of non-official members shall be as specified in rule 4 of the said rules.
