NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th January, 2018
G.S.R. 40(E).—In pursuance of the second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Mines and
Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby notifies the
National Thermal Power Corporation Limited for the purposes of the second proviso to sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the said Act:
Provided that the National Thermal Power Corporation Limited shall make over the data generated by
it, in respect of the prospecting operations undertaken by it, to the concerned State Government.
2. This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
