CCIT), Mumbai, is set to undertake a series of outreach initiatives across the city to promote awareness and ensure smooth implementation of the new legislation. As part of this initiative, a Mega Outreach Event will be organised in Mumbai on 12 May 2026, in alignment with the nationwide campaign led by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). In addition to the Mega Event, Mumbai Region will conduct over 30 outreach programmes across various locations in the coming month. These sessions will focus on providing information on educational tools, practical guidance on compliance under the new Act, and encourage active stakeholder participation.
