In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 43 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the 3 Special Deputy Collectors (R&R) attached with the offices of the Special District Revenue Officers (LA) concerned, to be Administrators for Rehabilitation and Resettlement, in respect of project area located within their jurisdiction, pertaining to greenfield airport outlined in G.O.(Ms.)No.210, Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce (MIE.2) department, dated 31.10.2023, where the appropriate Government is satisfied that there is likely to be involuntary displacement of persons due to acquisition of land.
