On February 14, 2026, the National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Nagpur, inaugurated INTAX 2026, its annual sports meet. The opening ceremony was graced by Manoj Kumar, a distinguished sportsperson, who was the Chief Guest. Dr. Sibichen K. Mathew, Director General, NADT, presided over the inaugural ceremony. The 78th and 79th batches of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) participated in the event. INTAX 2026 aims to foster physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership qualities among officer trainees. Shri Manoj Kumar has represented India at the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games and has been honoured with the Dhyan Chand Award by the President of India and the Bhim Award by the Government of Haryana.

The National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT), Nagpur, inaugurated its annual sports meet, INTAX
2026, today with enthusiasm.The opening ceremony was graced by Manoj Kumar as the Chief Guest.
A distinguished sportsperson, Shri Manoj Kumar has represented India at the Asian Games and
Commonwealth Games, making significant contributions to Indian sports. In recognition of his
achievements, he has been honoured with the prestigious Dhyan Chand Award by the President of India
and the Bhim Award by the Government of Haryana.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Dr. Sibichen K. Mathew, Director General, NADT.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the 78th and 79th batches of the Indian Revenue
Service (IRS), reflecting a spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie and holistic development.
INTAX 2026 aims to foster physical fitness, teamwork and leadership qualities among officer trainees,
