Introduction of an online e-EPCG Committee module for accepting
applications seeking relaxation in Policy/Procedure in terms of
para 2.58 of FTP 2015-20
This trade notice, dated May 19, 2021, issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, announces the introduction of an online e-EPCG Committee module for accepting applications seeking relaxation in policy/procedure under paragraph 2.58 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-20. Effective immediately, all applications for such relaxations must be submitted online through the DGFT website (dgft.gov.in). Manual submissions will no longer be accepted.
The online module allows users to log in, complete the application form, upload necessary documents, and pay the required fees. A system-generated file number will be provided for tracking purposes. All communication, including deficiency letters and the committee's decision, will be conducted online.
To access the e-EPCG Committee module, navigate to dgft.gov.in, log in using registered IEC holder credentials, select "Services," then "EPCG," and finally "Apply for EPCG Committee." Users are advised to consult the Online Help Manual and FAQ documents available at dgft.gov.in under "Learn" then "Application Help FAQs" before filing applications.
