सा.का.जन. 182(अ).— केन्द्रीय सरकार, सिक्का जनमािण अजधजनयम, 2011 (2011 का 11) की धारा 24 की उपधारा (2)
के खंड (घ) और खंड (ड.) द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती है, अथाित:्-
1. सजं िप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ. — (1) इन जनयमों का सजं िप्त नाम सिक्का जनमािण (भारतीय प्रौद्योजगकी संस्ट्थान, भारतीय खजन जिद्यापीठ,
धनबाि के िताब्िी िर्ि के अिसर पर स्ट्मारक सिक्का िारी करना) जनयम, 2026 ह।ै
(2) ये रािपत्र में इनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रिृत्त होंगे।
2. सिक्के का मल्ू यिगि. — भारतीय प्रौद्योजगकी संस्ट्थान (भारतीय खजन जिद्यापीठ), धनबाि के िताब्िी िर्ि के अिसर पर स्ट्मरणोत्सि
मनाने हते ु केंरीय सरकार के प्राजधकार के अधीन िारी दकए िाने के जलए टकसाल में एक सौ रुपये मूल्य िगि का सिक्का ढाला िाएगा।
3. सिक्के की जिमाएं और सरं चना. — जनयम 2 में उजल्लजखत मूल्य िगि का सिक्का, जनम्नजलजखत जिमाओं और संरचना के अनुरूप होगा,

पररजध पर िेिनागरी जलजप में “भारत” िब्ि और िाईं पररजध पर अंग्रेिी में “INDIA” िब्ि होगा। ससंह स्ट्तम्भ िीर्ि के नीचे रुपये का
प्रतीक “₹” और अंतरािष्ट्रीय अंकों में अंदकत मूल्य “100” भी होगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th March, 2026
G.S.R. 182(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of the
Coinage Act, 2011(11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the
occasion of Centenary Year Celebration of Indian Institute of Technology, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad)
Rules, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Denomination of coin.— The coin of One Hundred Rupees denomination shall be coined at the Mint for issue under
the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of Centenary year Celebration of Indian Institute
of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.
3. Dimension and composition of coin.— The denomination of the coin mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to the
following dimensions and composition, namely: -

4. Design.— The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule annexed to these rules.
5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.— The standard weight of the coin of denomination referred to in rule 2 to
commemorate the occasion of Centenary year Celebration of Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines),
Dhanbad and the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule annexed to
these rules.

OBVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “सत्यमेव जयते” inscribed
below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word
“INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol “₹” and denominational value “100” in the international

REVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the image of the building of Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines)
Dhanbad at the centre of the coin. The year “1926-2026” in international numerals shall be inscribed below the image.
On the upper periphery of the coin, the inscription “भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान )भारतीय खगन गवद्यापीठ) धनबाद” and “शताब्दी समारोह”
shall be written in Devanagari script. On the lower periphery of the coin, the inscription “INDIAN INSTITUTE OF
TECHNOLOGY (INDIAN SCHOOL OF MINES) DHANBAD” and “CENTENARY CELEBRATION” shall be
inscribed in English.
