(2) के खंड (घ) और खंड (ड.) द्वारा प्रित्त शक्तियो ंका प्रयोग करते हुए, दनम्नदलक्तखत दनयर् बनाती है, अर्ाात्:-
1. संविप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ.— (1) इन दनयर्ो ंका संदिप्त नार् दसक्का दनर्ााण (आंध्र दिश्वदिद्यालय का शताब्दी िर्ा के अिसर
पर स्मारक दसक्का जारी करना) दनयर्, 2026 है।
(2) ये राजपत्र र्ें इनके प्रकाशन की तारीख को प्रिृत्त होगं े।
2. वसक्के का मूल्यिगि.— आंध्र दिश्वदिद्यालय का शताब्दी िर्ा के अिसर पर स्मरणोत्सि र्नाने हेतु कें द्रीय सरकार के प्रादिकार
के अिीन जारी दकये जाने के दलए टकसाल र्ें एक सौ रुपये र्ूल्य िगा का दसक्का ढाला जाएगा।

दसक्के के इस भाग पर र्ध्य र्ें अशोक स्तम्भ का दसंह स्तम्भ शीर्ा होगा, दजसके नीचे “सत्यमेि जयते” लेख उत्कीदणात होगा,
उसकी बाईं पररदि पर िेिनागरी दलदप र्ें “भारत” शब्द और िाईं पररदि पर अंग्रेजी र्ें “INDIA” शब्द होगा। दसंह स्तम्भ शीर्ा के
नीचे रुपये का प्रतीक “₹” और अंतरााष्टरीय अंको ंर्ें अंदकत र्ूल्य “100” भी होगा ।

दसक्के के इस भाग पर दसक्के के र्ध्य र्ें आंध्र दिश्वदिद्यालय का शासकीय प्रतीक दचन्ह होगा । प्रतीक दचन्ह के बाईं ओर अंतरााष्टरीय
अंको र्ें िर्ा “1926” उत्कीणा होगा और प्रतीक दचन्ह के िाईं ओर अंतरााष्टरीय अंको र्ें िर्ा “2026” उत्कीणा होगा। दसक्के की ऊपरी
पररदि पर िेिनागरी दलदप र्ें उत्कीणा लेख “आंध्र विश्वविद्यालय का शताब्दी िर्ि” दलखा होगा। दसक्के की दनचली पररदि पर अंग्रेजी

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd April, 2026
G.S.R. 305(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of
the Coinage Act, 2011(11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the
occasion of Centenary Year of Andhra University) Rules, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Denomination of coin.— The coin of One Hundred Rupees denomination shall be coined at the Mint for issue under
the authority of the Central Government to commemorate the occasion of Centenary Year of Andhra University.
3. Dimension and composition of coin.— The denomination of the coin specified in rule 2 shall conform to the
following dimensions and composition, namely:-

4. Design.— The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule annexed to these rules.
5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.— The standard weight of the coin of denomination referred to in rule 2 to
commemorate the occasion of Centenary Year of Andhra University and the remedy allowed in making of such coin
shall be as specified in the Second Schedule annexed to these rules.

OBVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “सत्यमवे ियत”े inscribed
below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word
“INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the rupee symbol “₹” and denominational value “100” in the international
numerals below the Lion Capitol.
REVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the official logo of Andhra University at the center of the coin. The year “1926” in
international numerals shall be inscribed to the left of the logo and the year “2026” in international numerals shall be
inscribed to the right of the logo. On the upper periphery of the coin, the inscription “आध्रं जवश्वजवद्यालय का िताब्िी वर्”ष
shall be inscribed in Devanagari script. On the lower periphery of the coin, the inscription “CENTENARY YEAR OF
