**Summary:**
Effective February 21, 2022, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, is launching a new online IT module for processing applications for Replenishment Authorizations for Gems and Consumables, as outlined in paragraphs 4.35 and 4.36 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP). This initiative is part of the IT revamp of exporter/importer related services.
All new applications for Replenishment Authorizations must be submitted online through the DGFT website (https://www.dgft.gov.in) under the "Services" section. Replenishment Authorizations for Gems and Consumables will continue to be issued on security paper. Applications submitted prior to February 21, 2022, through the legacy system (http://dgftcom.nic.in/eComapplications.html) will be processed through that system by Regional Authorities (RAs).
Applicants can access help and guidance through the Help Manual and FAQs available on the DGFT website under "Learn > Application Help > FAQs." Further assistance is available through the following channels: raising a service request ticket via the DGFT Helpdesk Service (Services > DGFT Helpdesk Service), calling the DGFT Toll-free Helpline number, or sending an email to the Helpdesk at dgftedi@gov.in.

Subject: Issuance of Replenishment Authorisation as per Para 4.35 and 4.36 of Foreign
Trade Policy (FTP) from new online IT Module w.e.f. 21.02.2022- reg.
As part of IT Revamp of its exporter/importer related seryices, this Directorate now
introduces a new online module for filing of electronic, paperless applications for Issuance of
Replenishment Authorisation as per Para 4.35 and 4.36 of FTP for Gems and Consumables
from new online IT Module w.e.f. 21.02.2022. All applicants seeking Replenishment
Authorization for Gems and Consumables may apply online by navigating to the DGFT
website (https://www .dgft.gov .irt==> Services).
2. Accordingly, new applications for issuance will need to be submitted in online format
as per the above link and Replenishment Authorisation for Gems and Consumables will
continue to be issued on security paper. However, applications submitted before 21.02.2022
through legacy system (http://dgftcom.nic.inleComapplications.html) will continue to be
processed through legacy system by RAs.
