2. जसक्का का मल्ू य िग ि .- “कजि मदण ् ण की 150िीं ियतं ी” के अिसर पर केंरीय सरकार के प्राजधकार के अधीन, िारी करने के जलए
टकसाल में एक सौ पचास रुपये मूल् यिगि के जसक्के का जनमािण दकया िाएगा ।
3. जसक्के की जिमाएं और सरं चना .- जनयम 2 में उजल्लजखत उपरोि मूल् यिगि के जसक्के, जनम्नजलजखत जिमाओं और संरचना के अन्रूप
होंगे, अथाित् :-

ििे नागरी जलजप में “भारत” िब्ि और िाईं पररजध पर अंग्रेिी में “INDIA” िब्ि होगा। ससंह िीषि के नीचे रुपये का प्रतीक “₹” और
अंतरािष्ट्रीय अंकों में अंदकत मूल्य “150” भी होगा ।

जसक्के के इस भाग के मध्य में कजि मदण ् ण का जचत्र होगा। जसक्के के ऊपरी पररजध पर ििे नागरी जलजप में
“कजि मदण ् ण की 150िीं ियतं ी” जलखा होगा। जस् के के जनचली पररजध पर अंग्रेिी में “150TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th January, 2022
G.S.R. 28(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of
the Coinage Act, 2011(11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely: -
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on
the occasion of 150TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF KAVI MUDDANA) Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Denomination of coin.- The coin of One Hundred Fifty Rupees denomination shall only be coined at the Mint for
issue under the authority of the Central Government on the occasion of “150TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF KAVI
MUDDANA”.
3. Dimension and composition of coin.- The coin of the above denomination mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to
the following dimensions and composition, namely: -

making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule to these rules.

OBVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “सत्यमिे ियत”े
inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with
the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol “₹” and denominational value “150” in the
international numerals below the Lion Capitol.
REVERSE:
This face of coin shall bear the image of KAVI MUDDANA in the centre. The inscription “कजि मदण ् ण की 150िीं
ियतं ी” in Hindi is depicted on the upper periphery of the coin and the inscription “150TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY
OF KAVI MUDDANA” in English is depicted on the lower periphery of the coin. The year “1870-2020” in
