(1) These rules may be called the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for Union Territories except Delhi (Salary,AllowancesandotherConditionsofServiceofChairpersonandMember)Amendment Rules,2026. (2) TheyshallcomeintoforceonthedateoftheirpublicationintheOfficialGazette. 2. IntheJointElectricityRegulatoryCommissionforUnionTerritoriesexceptDelhi(Salary,Allowancesandother Conditions of Service of Chairperson and Members) Rules, 2007, in rule 8, for the words, brackets and figures, “Contributory Provident Fund Rules (India), 1962", the words and figures, "Employees' Provident Funds and MiscellaneousProvisionsAct,1952"shallbesubstituted.
