JUDICIAL NOTIFICATION Amendment to the High Court Right to Information (Regulation of Fee and Cost) Rules, 2007. (Roc. No. 61046/2022/RTI) No. SRO C-4/2024.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Central Act 22 of 2005), the Hon'ble The Chief Justice of the High Court of Madras, is pleased to make the following amendments to the Madras High Court Right to Information (Regulation of Fee and Cost) Rules, 2007. Amendment The existing "Rule 5(A)" shall be substituted with the following:- "5(A) (i) the Registrar General of the Principal Seat, the Appellate Authority, under Section 19(1) of the Right to Information Act, for the Principal Seat at Madras High Court and the Districts falling within the jurisdiction of the Principal Seat including Union Territory of Puducherry; and (ii) the Additional Registrar General at Madurai, the Appellate Authority, under Section 19 (1) of the Right to Information Act, for the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court and the Districts falling within the jurisdiction of the Madurai Bench."
