«±ÉõÀ gÁdå ¥ÀwæPÉ ¨sÁUÀ– 4J 21 2025 02 1946) £ÀA.115 Part– IVA BENGALURU, FRIDAY, 21, FEBRUARY, 2025 PHALGUNA , 02, SHAKAVARSHA, 1946) No. 115 HIGHER EDUCATION SECRETARIAT NOTIFICATION No. ED 40 DTE 2022, Bengaluru, Dated: 21st February, 2025 Whereas the draft of the Karnataka Higher Education Department Services (Technical Education Department) (Cadre and Recruitment) Rules, 2024, which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) in Notification No. ED 40 DTE 2022, in part IVA (PR No. 419) of the Karnataka Gazette dated 30.08.2024 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby within fifteen days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to the public on 30.08.2024. And Whereas objections and suggestions received in this behalf have been considered by the Government. Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules.2 RULES 1. Title and Commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Higher Education Department Services (Technical Education Department) (Cadre and Recruitment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette. 2. Method of Recruitment and Minimum Qualification:-The Karnataka Higher Education Department Service (Technical Education Department) shall consist of such categories of posts with scales of pay as specified in column (2) of the Schedule below, their number, the method of recruitment and minimum qualification, shall be as specified in the corresponding entries column (3), (4), (5),(6) and (7) thereof. 3. Repeal and Savings:- (1) The Karnataka Education Department Services (Mining Education Department) (Recruitment) Rules, 1974 and the Karnataka Education Department Services (Technical Education Department) (Recruitment) Rules, 2006 are hereby repealed: Provided that, such repeal shall not affect,- (a) The previous operation of the said rules or anything duly done or any action taken under the said rules; or (b) Any right, privilege, obligation or liability already acquired, accrued or incurred under the said rules.
