(cid:315)(cid:175)ೇಷ (cid:170)ಾಜ(cid:205) ಪ(cid:294)(cid:206)(cid:144)ೆ P¨ asÁ rU t À – – I4 Vಎ A BENGALURU, MONDAY, 05,0 M5 AY, 2022 50 V2 A5 ISHAKHA ,1 155 , SHAKAVAR1 S9 H4 A,7 1) 9 47) No. .2 25 500 GOVERNMENT OF KARNATAKA No.IDD 62 PSP 2024 Karnataka Government Secretariat, Vikasa Soudha, Bangalore, dated:05.05.2025 NOTIFICATION Whereas the draft of the Karnataka Inland Vessels Rules, 2006, which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sections19,19R and 67 read with section 74 of the Inland Vessels Act, 1917 (Central Act 1 of 1917), was published in Notification-1 No. IDD 62 PSP 2024, dated:10.02.2025 in part- IV A of the Karnataka Gazette dt.10.02.2025 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby within thirty days from the date of the its publication in the Official Gazette. And whereas, the said Gazette was made available to the public on 10th February 2025. And Whereas, no objections and suggestions were received in this regard. Therefore, now in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 19, 19R and 67 read with section 74 of the Inland Vessels Act, 1917(Central Act 1 of 1917), the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules, namely:- Rules 1. Title and Commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Inland Vessels (Amendment) Rules, 2025. (1)2 (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Substitution of Schedule.- In the Karnataka Inland Vessels Rules 2006, in the Schedule, for Part “A”, Part “B”and Part “C” and the entries relating thereto the following shall be substituted namely:- SCHEDULE PART A (see rule 3(b)) TABLE OF SURVEY FEES For an Inland Steam Vessel of which Fees payable by the owner to the the gross registered tonnage Government of Karnataka (rule 12) (1) (2) 1 Does not exceed 10 tonnes 1000 2 Exceed 10 tonnes but does not exceed 1500 20 tonnes 3 Exceed 20 tonnes but does not exceed 2000 30 tonnes 4 Exceed 30 tonnes but does not exceed 3000 50 tonnes 5 Exceed 50 tonnes but does not exceed 4000 75 tonnes 6 Exceed 75 tonnes but does not exceed 6000 100 tonnes 7 Exceed 100 tonnes but does not exceed 10000 300 tonnes 8 Exceed 300 tonnes but does not exceed 13000 600 tonnes 9 Exceed 600 tonnes but does not exceed 16000 900 tonnes 10 Exceed 900 tonnes but does not exceed 30000 1200 tonnes 11 Above 1200 tonnes Rs. 100 per GRTR.N.I. No. RNP/KA/BGS/2202/2017-19 Licensed to post without prepayment WPP No. 297 3 PART B (see rule 13(iii)) TABLE OF REGISTRATION FEES 1 On initial registration the scale of fees payable Rs. 2000 A 0-10 GRT will be B 10-20 GRT Rs. 3000 C 20-40 GRT Rs. 4000 Rs. 4000+ Rs. 50 D 40 GRT and above for each additional GRT For registration any vessels which has @ Rs.50 per GRT subject to a minimum been registered under the Merchant of Rs.6000/- 2 shipping Act 1894 as amended by any subsequent enactment @ Rs.50 per GRT subject to a minimum 3 Registration of alteration to a vessel of Rs.5000/- 4 Issue of a duplicate certificate @ Rs.1000 Registration as a result to transfer of @ Rs.5000 5 registry from any other state Registration as a result of transfer of @ Rs.5000 6 ownership within the same state 7 Issue of Provisional Certificate @ Rs. 1000 PART C (see rule 20) Appeal fee Appeal against the decision of Registering Authority (Not : @Rs.5000 refundable) Note: The rates specified in Schedule Part-A, Part-B and Part-C Column 2, shall be increased 5% annually. These rates will be reviewed after every 5 years. The annual escalation of 5% is fixed as per the concurrence of Finance Department vide Note No. FD 450 Exp-1/2024 dated:02.12.2024 and Cabinet Note sub No.C/48/2025, Dated:30.01.2025.
