NOTIFICATION Whereas the draft of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service)(Amendment) Regulations, 2025 was published as required by Article 318 of the Constitution of India, in Notification No. DPAR 83 SeLoSe 2013, dated: 04.03.2025 in part IVA of the Karnataka Gazette Extraordinary No. 127, dated: 04.03.2025 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be effected thereby within fifteen days from the date of its publication in the official Gazette. And whereas the said Gazette was made available to public on. 04.03.2025. And whereas objections and suggestions received in this behalf have been considered by the Government. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 318 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Karnataka hereby make the following regulations further to amend the Karnataka Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1957, namely:- (1)2 REGULATIONS 1. Title and Commencement:- (1) These regulations may be called the Karnataka Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Insertion of regulation 13A:- In the Karnataka Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1957 (hereinafter referred to as the said regulations), after Regulation 13, the following new Regulation shall be inserted, namely:- “13A. Appointment by Deputation:- Secretary of the Commission is the Competent Authority empowered to make appointments on deputation to the different cadres of the Commission with such terms and conditions as may be specified by him: Provided that, the Secretary of the Commission is also the Competent Authority to depute any Officer or Staff of the Commission on deputation to any other Department or Organisation of the State Government, with such terms and conditions as may be specified by him.” 3.
