NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 13th July, 2026
S.O. 4036(E).— Whereas, M/s. Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Ltd, had proposed under
section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up an
Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services Special Economic Zone at Pallipuram
Village, Cherthala Taluk, Alappuzha District, in the State of Kerala;[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3
And, whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of
the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, notified the following areas at above Special
Economic Zone as details given below in the table: -

AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Ltd has now proposed
for de-notification of 1.0241 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Kerala has given its approval to the proposal vide
letter No. IT-A2/57/2025-ITD dated 4th October, 2025;
AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Cochin SEZ has recommended the proposal
for de-notification of an area of 1.0241 hectares of the Special Economic Zone;
AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8)
of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of
section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic
Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 1.0241 hectares, thereby making
resultant area as 12.0547 hectares. The Survey numbers and the area for de-notification are given below in
the table, namely: -
