Bill No. 02 of 2023) A Bill to authorize payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Karnataka for the Services of the Financial year 2022-23. Whereas it is expedient to authorize payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State for the services of the Financial year 2022-23. Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the SEVENTY FOURTH year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title.- This Act may be called the Karnataka Appropriation Act, 2023. 2. Issue of Rupees 1126711.34 Lakhs out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Karnataka for the Financial year 2022-23: From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Karnataka, there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 5 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of Rupees Eleven thousand two hundred and sixty seven crore eleven lakhs and thirty four thousand only towards defraying the several charges which will come in the course of payment during the Financial Year 2022- 23 in respect of the services specified in column 2 of the schedule. 3.
