Ms. No. 62, Labour and Employment (M1), 3rd April 2017, ðƒ°Q 21, ¶¡ºA, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2048.] No. SRO B-24/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Factory Service, (Section 12 in Volume II of the Tamil Nadu Services Manual, 1969). 2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 11th December 1991. AMENDMENT (i) In the said Special Rules, in rule 2, in sub rule (a), in the Table, against the category "1. Chief Inspector of Factories" in column (1), for the entry in column (2), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "By promotion from the category of Additional Chief Inspector of Factories: Provided that if no qualified person is available from the post of Additional Chief Inspector of Factories, then appointment by promotion form the category of Joint Chief Inspector of Factories may be made.".
