NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th March, 2021
S.O. 1370(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways
Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of
Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways No. S.O. 2375 (E) dated 06.08.2013 &
S.O.674 (E) dated 04.03.2015 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub section (ii).4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
The Central Government is hereby authorizes the Special District Revenue Officer, Land Acquisition,
NH-47, 67 and 209, Coimbatore as the Competent Authority to perform the functions of such authorities under the
said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of
land specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Schedule relating to Districts, Taluk, Police station
and Villages mentioned in column (4), (5), (6) and (7) respectively of the said Schedule in respect of the stretch of
land from Km. 172.000 to Km. 268.000 of the Old NH 209 (Km. 210.630 to Km. 303.400 of the New NH 948) for
building (widening / four/ six laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of the National Highway No. 948
in the State of Tamilnadu.
