New Delhi, the 3rd March, 2015
S.O. 649(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways
Act, 1956 (48 of 1956) and in supersession of the Gazette notification of Government of India in the Ministry
of Road Transport and Highways S.O. No. 649(E), dated 29th March, 2012 and its amendment published vide
Gazette notification No. S.O. 2107(E), dated 8th September, 2012 and S.O. No. 1451(E), dated 5th June,
2013 except in respect of things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central
Government hereby authorizes the officers mentioned in column No. (2) of the schedule mentioned below as
competent authorities to perform the functions of such authorities under the said act with effect from the date
of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, In respect of the stretch of land specified in the
corresponding entry in column (3) of said Schedule relating to districts, taluk, police station and villages
mentioned in column (4), (5), (6) and (7) respectively of the said schedule for building (widening/four-
laning, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of the Mumbai–Vadodara Expressway in the state of
Maharashtra.
