NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, 30th March, 2015
S.O. 875(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways number 949, S.O. 1150(E) Dated the 25 April 2014 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II
Section 3, Sub-section (ii) and issued under sub-section (1) of Section 3A of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of
1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, declared its intention to acquire the land
specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for building (widening/Two-Four laning/Byepass etc.),
maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No.-12A(New N.H.-30) including construction of
Bypasses on the stretch of land from Km-268.345 to Km.316.075 (MP Border Chipli to Simga Section) in District
Bemetara in the State of Chhattisgarh,
And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published on the dated 16th July 2014 in Nai Duniya
(English) and on dated 20th July 2014 in Haribhumi (Hindi), under Sub-section (3) of Section 3A of the said Act;
And whereas received objections have been considered and disallowed by the competent authority;4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]
And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report to the Central Government;
Now therefore upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3D of the said Act; the Central Government here by declares that the land
specified in the said schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;
And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 3D of the said Act, the central Government declares that
on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the said schedule shall vest absolutely in
the Central Government free from all encumbrances.

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th March, 2015
S.O. 876(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3A of the National Highways Act,
1956 (48 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, after being satisfied that for the
public purpose, the land, the brief description of which is given in the Schedule below, is required for building
(Widening/four-laning/Byepass etc.), maintenance, management and operation of National Highway No.-12A (New
NH-30) in the stretch of land from Km. 268.345 to Km. 316.075 (M.P. Border Chilpi-Simga Section) in district of
Bemetara in the State of Chhattisgarh, hereby declares its intention to acquire such land;
Any person interested in the said land may, within twenty-one days from the date of publication of this
notification in the Official Gazette, object to the use of such land for the aforesaid purpose under sub-section (l) of
Section 3C of the said Act;
Every such objection shall be made to the competent authority, namely, Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) &
Land Acquisition Officer, Bemetara, District Bemetara, Chhattisgarh in writing and shall set out the grounds thereof and
the competent authority shall give the objector an opportunity of being heard, either in person or by a legal practitioner,
and may, after hearing all such objections and after making such further enquiry, if any, as the competent authority
thinks necessary, by order, either allow or disallow the objections;
Any order made by the competent authority under sub-section (2) of Section 3C of the said Act shall be final;
The land plans and other details of the land covered under this notification are available and can be inspected by
the interested person at the aforesaid office of the competent authority.
