1. (1) इस आदेि को मिीनरी और जवद्युत उपकरण सुरक्षा (सावशजत्रक तकनीकी जवजनयमन) जद्वतीय संिोधन आदेि, 2025 कहा िाएगा।

(2) यह आजधकाठरक रािपत्र म ेंप्रकािन की तारीख से प्रवृत्त होगा।

2. मिीनरी और जवद्युत उपकरण सुरक्षा (सावशजत्रक तकनीकी जवजनयमन) आदेि, 2024 म,ें परै ा 1 के उप-परै ा (2) म ें िब्दों "आजधकाठरक रािपत्र में इसके प्रकािन की तारीख से एक वर् श के बाद", जिन्द्ह ें मिीनरी और जवद्यतु उपकरण सरु क्षा (सावशजत्रक तकनीकी जवजनयमन) संिोधन आदेि, 2025 के तहत संिोजधत करके "1 जसतंबर, 7595 GI/2025 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] 2026 को" दकया गया था, के जलए "ऐसी तारीख से िसै ा दक केंर सरकार द्वारा आजधकाठरक रािपत्र म ें अजधसूजचत की िाए" िब्दों को प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा। [फा. सं. 9/28/2019-एचई एडं एमटी] जविय जमत्तल, संयुि सजचव नोट: मूल आदेि, अथाशत् मिीनरी और जवद्युत उपकरण सरु क्षा (सावशजत्रक तकनीकी जवजनयमन) आदेि, 2024, भारत का रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उप-खंड (ii) म ें अजधसूचना संख्या का.आ. 3649(अ), ददनांक 28 अगस्ट्त, 2024 द्वारा प्रकाजित दकया गया था। इसके अलावा, आदिे को मिीनरी और जवद्युत उपकरण सुरक्षा (सावशजत्रक तकनीकी जवजनयमन) संिोधन आदेि, 2025 के माध्यम से अजधसूचना संख्या का.आ. 2579(अ) ददनाकं 12 िून, 2025 द्वारा संिोजधत दकया गया था। MINISTRY OF HEAVY INDUSTRIES

ORDER New Delhi, the 13th November, 2025 S.O. 5179(E).—Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with section 17 and section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary and expedient so to do in the public interest, and in consultation with the Bureau of Indian Standards, hereby makes the following Order to amend the Machinery and Electrical Equipment Safety (Omnibus Technical Regulation) Order, 2024, namely:–

1. (1) This Order may be called the Machinery and Electrical Equipment Safety (Omnibus Technical Regulation) Second Amendment Order, 2025.

(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Machinery and Electrical Equipment Safety (Omnibus Technical Regulation) Order, 2024, in Paragraph 1, sub-Paragraph (2) the words “after one year from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette”, which were amended to “on the 1st September, 2026” vide Machinery and Electrical Equipment Safety (Omnibus Technical Regulation) Amendment Order, 2025, the words “from such date as may be notified by the Central Government in the Official Gazette” shall be substituted.

Order, 2024, was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide

notification number S.O. 3649(E), dated the 28th August, 2024.Further the order was amended through the Machinery and Electrical Equipment Safety (Omnibus Technical Regulation) Amendment Order, 2025 vide

Notification No. S.O. 2579(E) dated 12th June 2025.
