**Policy Summary: Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) Rate Adjustment**
This document, reference number RBI20182019161 FMOD.MAOG. No.13101.18.001201819, issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on April 4, 2019, announces an adjustment to the Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) rate. Following the decision of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) as stated in the First Bimonthly Monetary Policy Statement for 2019-20, the policy Repo rate under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) has been reduced by 25 basis points, from 6.25 percent to 6.00 percent, effective immediately. Consequently, the MSF rate is adjusted to 6.25 percent with immediate effect. All other terms and conditions of the existing MSF scheme remain unchanged.

As announced in the First Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Statement, 2019-20, today, it has
been decided by the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) to reduce the policy Repo rate
under the Liquidity Adjustment Facility (LAF) by 25 basis points from 6.25 per cent to 6.00
per cent with immediate effect.
2. Consequently, the Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) rate stands adjusted to 6.25 per
cent with immediate effect.
3. All other terms and conditions of the extant MSF scheme will remain unchanged.
