The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) is participating in the Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) 5.0, running from October 2nd to 31st, 2025. This campaign emphasizes e-waste disposal and aims to enhance efficiency, address pending matters, and promote the upkeep of government offices and residential complexes.
Implemented in coordination with MoHUA's attached offices and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), the campaign systematically targets e-waste disposal and clearing pendency related to Service Deliveries, MP references, References from State Governments, Inter-Ministerial communications, Parliamentary Assurances, PMO references, and CPGRAM matters.
Mid-Campaign Progress Highlights include:
* Reviewed 8,424 out of 17,084 files.
* Weeded out 2,582 out of 3,467 files to streamline pending issues.
* Conducted cleanliness drives at 259 sites, with an emphasis on e-waste collection and segregation.
* Generated revenue of ₹2,162,223 through various campaign activities.
* Freed up 173,927 square feet of space.

Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) 5.0 running from (2 – 31 October, 2025). This year’s campaign
places a special emphasis on e-waste disposal as part of the broader agenda to enhance efficiency in
addressing pending matters and promote the upkeep and beautification of government offices and residential
complexes.
Implemented in close coordination with MoHUA’s attached and subordinate offices, as well as Public Sector
Undertakings (PSUs), the campaign systematically targets disposal of e-waste generated in offices, along with
clearing pendency related to: Service Deliveries, MP references, References from State Governments, Inter-
Ministerial communications, Parliamentary Assurances, PMO references and CPGRAM matter etc in time
bound manner.
Aligning with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of a ‘Swachh Bharat’, the Ministry plays a vital role
through conducting cleanliness drives for the maintenance, and upkeep of government offices and residential
complexes—where the benefits of efficient disposal of pending matters and improved cleanliness are highly
visible.The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) continues to provide full support for the effective
implementation of the campaign.
