सा.का.जन. 232(अ).—खान और खजनज (जिकास और जिजनयमन) अजधजनयम, 1957 (1957 का 67) की
धारा 18 द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करत े हुए, केन्द्रीय सरकार खजनज संरक्षण और जिकास जनयम, 2017 को
और संिोधन करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती ह,ै अथाात्: —
1. (1) इन जनयमों का संजक्षप् त नाम खजनज संरक्षण और जिकास (संिोधन) जनयम, 2025 ह।ै
(2) ये सरकारी राजपत्र म ेंअपने प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रिृत होंगे।
2. खजनज सरं क्षण और जिकास जनयम 2017 (इसम े इसके पश्च ात् जनदिषद उ्त जनयम कहा गया ह)ै के जनयम 3 के
उपजनयम (1) म,ें खडं (ड.) के स्ट्थान पर जनम्नजलजखत खंड रखा जाएगा, अथाात:् —
‘(ड.) " कैजलब्रे ेड लम्प अयस्ट्क" स े खान से जनकाल े गए अयस्ट्क को कुचलन े और छानन े के बाद प्राप्त आकार के
लौह अयस्ट्क लम्प, जजनका आकार 5 जममी से 40 जममी के बीच होता ह ै और न्द्यूनतम Fe श्रेणी 60% और
उससे अजधक होता ह,ै अजभप्रत ह;ैं ’।
3. उि जनयमों की अनुसूची-I म ें—
(क) प्ररुप च1, प्ररुप छ1, के िीर्का “**उपरो्त सारणी म ें ददए गए खजनजों में सूजचत दकए जाने िाले
खजनजों की श्रेजणया ं जनम्न सारणी म ें ददए गए ह ै (यदद नीच े श्रणे ी अलग से नहीं ददखाए ं गए ह,ै खजनज के

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th April, 2025
G.S.R. 232(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 of the Mines and Minerals
(Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following
rules further to amend the Mineral Conservation and Development Rules, 2017, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Mineral Conservation and Development (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Mineral Conservation and Development Rules, 2017 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 3,
in sub-rule (1), for clause (e), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:—
„(e) "calibrated lump ore” means the sized iron ore lumps obtained after crushing and screening of the
run-of-mine ore, having size range between 5 mm and 40 mm and minimum Fe grade of 60% and
above;‟.
3. In the said rules, in Schedule-I, —[भाग II—खण् ड 3(i)] भारत का राजपत्र : असाधारण 3
(a) in Form F1 and Form G1, under the heading “**Grades of minerals to be reported in the above tables are as
given below. (If separate grades are not mentioned below, report the mineral name against grade):”, in the table,
under the column relating to GRADES, for item number (iv) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall
be substituted, namely:—
“(iv) Calibrated Lump Ore (CLO)
(Quantity already reported in Lumps should not be reported against CLO)
(a) 60% to below 62% Fe (5-40 mm size CLO)
(b) 62% to below 65% Fe (5-40 mm size CLO)
(c) 65% and above Fe (5-40 mm size CLO)”;
