प्रत्येक मामले में सवास्मजत पर पहुचं ने का प्रयास करेगा और यदद सवास्मजत पर नहीं पहुचं ा जा सकता ह ै तो बहुमत का
मत अजभभावी होगा ।
9. असम सरकार, प्राजधकरण, असम और राज्य स्ट्तरीय जविेर्ज्ञ मूल् यांकन सजमजत, असम के जलए सजचवालय के रूप
म ें काय ा करने को दकसी अजभकरण को अजधसूजचत करेंगी और सभी जवत्तीय और संभार तंत्र समथान, जजसके अंतगात स्ट्थान,
पररवहन और इसके सभी कानूनी कृत्यों के संबंध म ेंऐसी अन्द्य सुजवधाएं उपलब्ध कराएगी।
10. प्राजधकरण, असम के अध्यक्ष और सदस्ट्यों तथा राज्य स्ट्तरीय जविेर्ज्ञ मूल् यांकन सजमजत, असम के अध्यक्ष और
सदस्ट्यों की बैिक के जलए फीस, यात्रा भत्ता और मंहगाई भत्ता असम सरकार के जनयमों के अनुसार संदेय होंग े।

S.O. 2025(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment
(Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile
Ministry of Environment and Forests number S.O. 1533(E), dated the 14th September, 2006 (herein after referred to as
the said notification), the Central Government hereby constitutes the State Level Environment Impact Assessment
Authority, Assam (herein after referred to as the Authority, Assam) comprising of the following Members, namely: -

8. The State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Assam shall function on the principle of collective
responsibility and the Chairman shall endeavor to reach a consensus in each case, and if consensus cannot be reached,
the view of the majority shall prevail.
9. The Government of Assam shall notify an agency to act as Secretariat for the Authority, Assam and State
Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Assam and shall provide all financial and logistic support including
accommodation, transportation and such other facilities in respect of all their statutory functions.
10. The sitting fee, travelling allowances and dearness allowances to the Chairman and Members of the
Authority, Assam and the Chairman and Members of the State Level Expert Appraisal Committee, Assam shall be
paid as per the rules of the State Government of Assam.
