NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th March, 2025
G.S.R. 212(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate
Change, Zoological Survey of India (Field Collector), Group 'C' Post Recruitment Rules, 2015, namely :-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Zoological Survey
of India (Field Collector), Group 'C' Post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Zoological Survey of India (Field Collector),
Group 'C' Post Recruitment Rules, 2015, in the Schedule, -
(i) in column (6), for Note 1, the following Note shall be substituted, namely: -
"Note.- The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be as advertised by the Staff
Selection Commission.";
(ii) in column (7), under the sub-heading 'Essential', for items (1) and (2) and the entries relating
thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"Must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) examination with Biology as one of the subjects from
a recognised Board or Institute”.
