The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, has invited
nominations for the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP)
2026, a national award instituted to recognize exceptional achievements of children
across the country whose contributions have positively impacted society and
inspired others.
The award honors talented and public-spirited young individuals under six
categories namely Bravery, Social Service, Environment, Sports, Art & Culture and
Science & Technology.
Children below 18 years of age as on July 31, 2026, who have demonstrated
outstanding achievements and made exceptional public contributions in any of these
fields are eligible for nomination.
To ensure a broad-based and inclusive selection process, nominations are invited
from Ministries and Departments of the Government of India, State Governments,
Union Territories and other relevant institutions. The nominations and
recommendations for PMRBP-2026 will be accepted only through the online
Rashtriya Puraskar Portal at https://awards.gov.in.
The Ministry has emphasized the need to identify deserving children who may not
