Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) and Stella Mary’s College of Engineering, Tamil Nadu, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 7 to strengthen collaboration between industry and academia.
The college delegation was led by Dr. Suresh Premil Kumar R, Principal, along with Dr. Sagai Francis Britto, Associate Professor and PG Coordinator, Department of Information Science and Engineering, and Mrs. Arokia Latha, Dean and Management Representative.
During the meeting, the delegation presented the college’s academic programmes, research capabilities and consultancy expertise, highlighting areas relevant to the operational and strategic needs of Mormugao Port.
The MoU marks MPA’s first collaboration with an educational institution and is expected to promote knowledge-sharing, academic engagement and cooperation between the port and the institution.
