District - Notification – Orders - Issued.

O R D E R
The Commissioner &Director of Municipal Administration, A.P., Hyderabad in the
letter 2nd read above has submitted the proposal received in the letter 3rd read above
from the District Collector, East Godavari District for inclusion of the following villages
in the Peri-urban areas into the Municipal Limits of Peddapuram Municipality as required
under rule 5 (3) of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (inclusion or exclusion of areas
into / from the limits of Municipalities / Nagar Panchayats) Rules, 2006 issued in
G.O.Ms.No. 63, MA & UD Department, dated: 18.2.2006. He has therefore, requested to
issue necessary orders in the matter.

2. Pulimeru
2. Accordingly the proposals of the Director of Municipal Administration, A.P.,
Hyderabad at a para (1) above were considered and Show Cause Notice was issued vide
reference 4th read above to the Municipal Council, Peddapuram calling for their
views/suggestion if any and of the Public on the proposal, to include the Gudivada Gram
Panchayat into the limits of Peddapuram Municipality.
3. In this connection, the Commissioner &Director of Municipal Administration,
A.P., Hyderabad has also reported that the Municipal Commissioner, Peddapuram has
followed the procedure and indicated that no objections were received on the proposed
inclusion of Gudivada Gram Panchayat into the limits of Peddapuram Municipality. The
Municipal Council, in its resolution No. 180, date: 15.11.2011 has resolved accepting the
proposals for inclusion of above Gram Panchayat into the limits Peddapuram
Municipality. In this connection, the Director of Municipal Administration, A.P.,
Hyderabad has requested the Government to consider the report of the Municipal
Commissioner, Peddapuram and issue necessary orders in terms of orders issued in the
reference 1st read above.
4. Government after careful examination of the matter have decided to include the
Gudivada Gram Panchayat into the limits of the Peddapuram Municipality.
5. In the reference 7th read above, Government in Panchayat Raj and Rural
Development Department have de-notified the Gudivada Gram Panchayat of East
Godavari District for its merger into Peddapuram Municipality.
6. Therefore, the Government hereby issue the following notification for inclusion
of Gudivada Gram Panchayat into the limits of Peddapuram Municipality.
7. The following notification will be published in an Extra-Ordinary Issue of the
Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated:07-02-2012.

8. The Commissioner, Printing, Stationary and Stores Purchase, Hyderabad is
requested to publish the following notification and furnish 50 copies of the same to the
Government immediately.
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-section (1A) of section 3 of the
Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 (Andhra Pradesh Act 6 of 1965) read with clause
(vi) of rule 5 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (inclusion or exclusion of areas
into/from the limits of Municipalities/Nagar Panchayats) Rules, 2006 issued in
G.O.Ms.No.63, M.A. & U.D. (Elec.II) Department, dated 18.2.2006, the Governor of
Andhra Pradesh hereby alters the limits of the Peddapuram Municipality by including the
Gudivada area of the erstwhile Gram Panchayat of East Godavari District therein with
immediate effect.
