Memo No.6190/H1/2011-1, dated:19-04-2011. 5) From Director of Town & Country Planning Lr.Roc.No. 4328/2003/H, dt:15-11-2011. --oOo-- O R D E R:- In the letter 3rd read above, the Director of Town and Country Planning, Hyderabad has informed that Government have accorded formal approval of the draft GTP Scheme of Vikarabad Town and the same has been published in the District Gazette No.18, dated:03.03.2008 vide G.O. 1st read above. The Director of Town & Country Planning, Hyderabad has also stated that Government have issued orders vide G.O. 2nd read above, declaring the Vikarabad Town as Satellite Town identified as among the 8 Towns selected in the Country. Since the Master Plan was prepared for a projected population of 55,000 for a period of 20 years upto 2030, in the context of Vikarabad being developed as a Satellite Township with a projected population of 5,00,000, the Director of Town & Country Planning, Hyderabad was asked to rework on the Master Plan for a population of 5,00,000 in tune with the CDP. 2. The Municipal Council, Vikarabad in its Resolution No.259/2011-12, dated:05.05.2011, has resolved to revise the Master Plan for an estimated population of two lakhs by 2041 and forwarded the draft GTP Scheme to the Government for formal approval. 3. The DT&CP has revised the Master Plan for an estimated population of two lakhs by 2041 and forwarded the draft GTP Scheme to the Government for formal approval along with council resolution. The DT&CP has furnished Map.No.1 (existing land use map) and Map.No.2 (proposed land use map) draft Report along with Zoning Regulations. 4. Government, after careful examination of the proposal submitted by the Commissioner, Vikarabad Municipality and forwarded by the Director of Town & Country Planning, Hyderabad and in supersession of earlier orders issued in G.O.1st read above, hereby accord formal approval to the draft General Town Planning Scheme (Master Plan) for Vikarabad Municipality under Rule 25 of the Andhra Pradesh Town Planning Rules and section 8 (2) of the Andhra Pradesh Town Planning Act, 1920. …2..:: 2 :: 5. The draft General Town Planning Scheme (Master Plan) of Vikarabad sent herewith to the Commissioner, Vikarabad Municipality through the Director of Town & Country Planning, Hyderabad for taking necessary further action under rules 27 to 29 of the Andhra Pradesh Town Planning Rules for publishing the draft General Town Planning Scheme (Master Plan) and to call for the objections and suggestions and resubmit the same to the Government through proper channel after following the procedure for sanction as required under section 14(3) of the Andhra Pradesh Town Planning Act, 1920. 6. The Director of Town & Country Planning, Hyderabad and Commissioner, Vikarabad Municipality are requested to acknowledge the receipt of the records returned herewith.
