L.-33004/99 सी.जी.-डी.एल.-अ.-28022024-252471 xxxGIDHxxx CG-DLxx-xEG-I2D8E0x2x2x0 24-252471 असाधारण EXTRAORDINARY भाग II—खण् ड 3—उप-खण्ड (i) PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (i) प्राजधकार स ेप्रकाजित PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY स.ं 130] नई दिल्ली, बुधवार, फरवरी 28, 2024/फाल्ग नु 9, 1945 No. 130] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2024/PHALGUNA 9, 1945 सड़क पररवहन और रािमाग गमत्रं ालय अजधसचू ना नई दिल्ली, 27 फरवरी, 2024 सा.का.जन. 141(अ).—केन्द्रीय मोटर यान जनयम, 1989 की धारा 212 की उपधारा(1) की अपेक्षानुसार केन्द्रीय मोटर यान जनयम, 1989 का और संिोधन करन े के जलए, भारत सरकार के सड़क पररवहन और रािमाग ग मंत्रालय की अजधसूचना सा.का.जन. संखयांक 910 (अ) तारीख 22 दिसंबर, 2023 द्वारा उन सभी व्यजियों स,े जिनके उनस े प्रभाजवत होने की संभावना थी, प्रारूप जनयम भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (i) में प्रकाजित दकए गए थ,े उस तारीख स े जिसको उि अजधसूचना स े युि रािपत्र की प्रजतयां िनता को उपलब्ध करा िी गई थी, तीस दिन की अवजध के अवसान स े पूवग आक्षेप और सुझाव आमंजत्रत दकए गए थ े ; और रािपत्र की प्रजतयां जिसम ें उि अजधसूचना प्रकाजित की गई थी, िनता को 22 दिसंबर, 2023 को उपलब्ध करा िी गई थीं ; और उि प्रारूप जनयमों की बाबत िनता से कोई आक्षेप और सुझाव प्राप्त नहीं हुए थ े ; अतः अब केन्द्रीय सरकार केन्द्रीय मोटर यान अजधजनयम, 1988 (1988 का 59) की धारा 110 द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्रीय मोटर यान जनयम, 1989 का और संिोधन करन े के जलए जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती ह,ै अथागत ् :- 1. सजं क्षप्त नाम और प्रारंभ (1) इन जनयमों का संजक्षप्त नाम केन्द्रीय मोटर यान (तीसरा संिोधन) जनयम, 2024 ह ै। (2) ये जनयम रािपत्र म ेंउनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे। 1355 GI/2024 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] 2. केन्द्रीय मोटर यान जनयम, 1989 म ें , जनयम 115क के, उपजनयम (9) में सारणी 2 में, “से लाग”ू िीर् ग के अधीन, “2024” अंकों के स्ट्थान पर “2026” अंक रख ेिांएग े । [सं. आरटी-11028/22/2016-एमवीएल] महमूि अहमि, अपर सजचव रटप्पणः मूल जनयम भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (i) में अजधसचू ना सं. सा.का.जन. 590(अ), तारीख 2 िून, 1989 द्वारा प्रकाजित दकए गए थ े और अंजतम संिोधन सा.का.जन. स.ं 38(अ), तारीख 15 िनवरी, 2024 द्वारा दकया गया । MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th February, 2024 G.S.R. 141(E).—WHEREAS, the draft rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, was published, as required by sub-section (1) of section 212 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways number G.S.R. 910(E), dated the 22nd December, 2023, in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby before the expiry of the period of thirty days from the date on which copies of the Gazette containing the said notification were made available to public; AND WHEREAS, copies of the Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public on the 22nd December, 2023; AND WHEREAS, no objections and suggestions were received from the public in respect of the said draft rules; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 110 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the Central Motor Vehicles (Third Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989, in rule 115A, in sub-rule (9), in Table 2, under the heading “Applicable with effect from”, for the figures, “2024” the figures “2026” shall be substituted.
